Epic’s Connect Collaboration
Who should attend? The Connect Collaboration is an event for both Connect hosts and sites. From host organizations, we often see Connect program leaders, Customer Success Managers, and executives who are responsible for the success of their programs. From Connect sites, typical attendees are executives who work closely with the host, IT leaders, and clinical informaticists. If you have questions about if the Collab would be a good fit for specific roles, reach out to your Connect Partner. It is more important that attendees have a vested interest in the success of their Connect program rather than having a specific title or role.
Topics will include: Connect hosts and sites will describe how they followed best practices to achieve great outcomes with reporting, autonomy, host-site partnerships, training, site-to-site collaboration, program development, the financial success manager role, the customer success manager role, technical best practices, and readiness. Additionally, sites will present on their operational achievements, detailing how they have achieved success in areas such as MyChart adoption, revenue cycle, patient engagement, and provider satisfaction.
New for 2026: We will build on the success of last year's technical track by including more technically-focused sessions, with a goal of highlighting best practices for both hosts and sites. Based on your feedback, we have added a few more Epic-led sessions to dive into the areas you are most interested in. Beyond that, you can expect a similar experience to last year's Collab, with three to four sessions running concurrently, plenty of opportunities to network, and a varied agenda featuring both hosts and sites.

Most Collaboration presentations are 40 minutes long. It’s typical to plan for a 30-minute presentation and 10 minutes of Q&A. This can vary if you are part of a joint presentation. Please work with your Epic Host if you have questions about the best format for your presentation.
-
Most rooms have a short stage, a presenter table with a desktop PC, and two monitors with your presentation already loaded. Using the desktop is the most reliable route, but you may also present from your laptop.
You will have a choice of tabletop, handheld, and lavalier microphones. Most sessions are audio recorded and will be posted to the Session Archive site.
If you plan to do an in-system demonstration or have any special technology needs (laptops, mobile devices, etc.), please let your Epic Host know as soon as possible.

Most sessions are led by Connect hosts and sites. Previous topics have included Connect site autonomy and success stories, data analytics and reporting, MyChart adoption, training, host-to-site partnerships, site-to-site collaboration, program development, and provider experience and outcomes. Additionally, there are a handful of Epic-led sessions, as well as opportunities to meet with Epic experts from across many areas.
-
We are looking for Connect hosts and sites who can share a success, ideally supported by measurable outcomes. These can be stories about hosts and sites work together, operational or IT successes at Connect sites, or program success from the host perspective. We have great attendance from critical access hospitals and rural health groups - we would love to hear from these groups on how Epic has impacted the way they provide care for their communities.
